Visita Luthien de Chile y Cumpleaños Mercedes con The Tea Saloon

Picnic en Jardín Botánico

En el mes de Febrero nos estuvo visitando desde Chile, Luthien, administradora de la comunidad El Jardín Secreto. Así que como bienvenida optamos por llevarla a El Jardín Botánico, donde el buen tiempo ameritaba para hacer un picnic.

In the month of February we were visited from Chile by Luthien, administrator of the community El Jardín Secreto. So as welcome we opted to take her to the Botanical Garden, where the good weather merited for a picnic.

También festejamos el cumpleaños de Mercedes, quien trajo desde Maldonado(otro departamento) un motón de comida con el tema de Hello Kitty. Todo delicioso y precioso!

We also celebrate the birthday of Mercedes, who brought from Maldonado (another department) a ton of food with Hello Kitty theme.All delicious and beautiful!

Nos hizo un día precioso, aunque un poco caluroso por el loli jeje. Luego de pasar el rato charlando, bromeando a morir con sobredosis de azúcar  y comentando sobre el lolita en los diferentes países, fuimos al Parque Prado un rato, ya que el Botánico últimamente está cerrando súper temprano :(.

We had a lovely day, even thought a little hot for loli hehe. After hanging out chatting, joking to death with an overdose of sugar and commenting on the lolita in different countries, we went to the Parque Prado for a while, since the Botanical lately is closing super early :(.

Traté de hacer algún peinado loco-romántico con algunos tutoriales de internet pero luego de ver las fotos me he dado cuenta que los peinados cortos no me favorecen mucho xD. A menos pude usar mi pelo para algo  y combatir el calor. Y usar ese sombrerito de Taobao que amo y espero volver a usar mejor.

I tried to do some crazy-romantic hairstyle with some internet tutorials but after seeing the photos I've noticed that short hairstyles do not favor me as  long ones xD. At least I could use my hair to something and beat up the heat, and I could wear that Taobao hat I love and hope to use it better.

Cena en Adolfo Café

Para despedir a Luthien optamos por ir a Adolfo Café para cenar, ubicado en la zona de Punta Carretas. Es un café que recientemente comenzó a abrir para picadas y comidas ligeras con tragos en la noche. Es un lugar muy bonito que combina varios estilos.

As farewell party to Luthien we opted to go to Adolfo Dining Café, located in the neighborhood of Punta Carretas. It is a coffeehouse  that recently began opening for snacks and light meals with drinks at night. It is a very nice place that blends styles.

Para cenar compartí con Rina una pizza casera de tomates secos y albahaca, con un delicioso caipiriña de frutos del bosque. Ah! y una torta de chocolate con helado que me olvidé de fotografiar jeje.

For dinner I shared with Rina a homemade pizza with dried tomatoes and basil with a delicious wild berry caipirinha. Ah! and a chocolate cake with ice cream that I forgot to photograph hehe.

Pasamos la noche conversando y poniéndonos al día con los que no fueron al picnic. Se pasó muy divertido por más que el lugar nos quedaba un poco chico para tanto petti je,je. 

We spent the night chatting and catching up with those who were not at the picnic. We have a lot of fun even though the place was a little small for all our pettis heh, heh.

El coord fue hecho medio a las apuradas, la peluca de Arda se me deshizo un poco en el correr de la noche, no valió la pena su costo , me han salido mejor algunas de Bodyline. Esta un poco saturada por la luz, que no era la más amena para fotos. Pero igual me gustó mi coord :).

The coord was done half a hurry, Arda wig  undid a little over the course of the night, not worth the cost, I would have been better some of Bodyline. This somewhat saturated by light, it was not the most pleasant for photos.But just as I liked my coord. :)

Sesión de fotos con Julia y Taly

Hola, hoy les traigo una salida a una photo shot que hicimos con mi amiga Julia y su amiga Taly ,( a quien Julia le ayudo con sus prendas a armar su segundo coord). Originalmente iba a ser con una fotógrafa, pero tuvo inconvenientes así que me puse yo en suplencia jeje. No soy fotógrafa, ni mucho menos, soy dibujante y con mi conocimiento de Phosotoshop y con los piques que he recolectado de otras personas, hago lo que puedo.  

Hello, today I bring you a photo shot we did with my friend Julia and her friend Taly, (whom Julia helped her loaning her some clothes to put together her second coord). Originally there was going to be a photographer, but she had problems so I got in as substitude hehe. I'm not a photographer or anything, I'm an artist and my with my knowledge of Phosotoshop and some tips I've gathered from others I do what I can.

Comenzamos la tarde merendando en el lugar, El Mesón Español, ubicado en el Club Español, una sede que tiene ya varios años instalada en la cuidad, es una casa colonial preciosa. La comida esta bien, no es gran cosa pero sale muy barata, mi sándwich de pan verde estaba delicioso, también mi licuado. El ambiente en el restaurante es medio lúgubre, como de "bar de viejos", tienen en la tv el fútbol y está mal iluminado pero bueno, al menos estábamos prácticamente solas y tranquilas. 

We started the afternoon picnicking in the cofe shop of El Meson Español, located in the el Club Español, a venue that has installed several years ago in the city, is a beautiful colonial house. The food is good, not much deal but goes very cheap, my green bread sandwich was delicious, even my smoothie. On the other hand, the atmosphere in the restaurant was a dingy environment, as an "old man's bar", it had the tv on with football soccer and  was poorly lit but  at least we were practically alone and quiet.

Bueno, en si la sesión de fotos dentro del lugar duró muy poco, debido a que contar con previa autorización, cosa que obviamente, no sabíamos. Así que a los pocos minutos, luego de que una señora interrogase al custodio sobre el porque de nuestra presencia, nos invitaron a retirarnos.Al menos conseguimos un par de fotos lindas!

Well, if the photo shoot took place inside the location,it lasted very very little, because we found out we have to have prior authorization from the place, which obviously we did not know. So a few minutes later, after a lady interrogate the custodian on our presence, we were invited to leave the place. Al least we got a couple of nice pictures!

Y como nos echaron se me ocurrió ir a sacar fotos al aire libre , al Ateneo de Montevideo, que quedaba ahí cerca y como era sábado había poca gente que molestase en el fondo. Sino es imposible. 

And as we were kicked out it occurred to me to go out and  take pictures ,at the Ateneo de Montevideo, which was nearby and as it was saturday we had very few people to bothered in the background .If not is impossible.

La parte de esta sesión la llame "En los jardines".

This part of the session I call it "At the gardens".

Para la ocasión disidí usar un coord que había utilizado hace uno tiempo pero que no tenía lindas fotos. Esta inspirado en El Fantasma de la Opera. Con un toque más del libro que del musical, bueno, una mezcla.

For the occasion I choose to wear a coord I had used one time ago but which I had no pretty pictures. Its inspired by The Phantom of the Opera. With a touch more of the book than the musical, well, a mixture.
