Meriendas de Enero

Bueno, esta sí es una entrada que tiene ya un tiempo, Enero, nada más ni nada menos, pero no quería adelantarme tanto sin escribir sobre algunas salidas. 

Well, this it is an entry that has been a while, January, nothing more nothing less, but did not want to overtake both without writing on some departures.

PV Restaurante Lounge

En esta ocasión fuimos a merendar a PV Restaurante Lounge, que se encuentra en la Librería Puro Verso en Cuidad Vieja.

This time we went for tea at PV Restaurant Lounge, located in the Library Puro Verso in Cuidad Vieja.

Fuimos con el motivo de que Laia quiso saludar a Kelly por su cumple y de paso hicimos una pequeña reunión. Era una tarde bastante calurosa, yo tuve la suerte que Lai me pasó a buscar en auto , pero en el lugar también pasamos calor porque no tenía aire acondicionado y los pettis y el calor no se llevan xD.

We took advantage that Laia was in town to greet Kelly for fer birthdat so we made a small gathering. It was a very hot afternoon, I was lucky that Laia happened  to go by car and give me a ride but the place also had heat because it had no air conditioning and pettis and heat to not carry XD.

De todas maneras pasamos muy lindo, la comida es muy buena y nos pedimos unos licuados deliciosos.

Anyway we spent a very nice time together, the food is very good and we ordered delicious smoothies.

Como hacía calor y quería ir sin llamar mucho la atención opté por un coord veraniego, simple, con medias enteras del mismo color del bolero de encaje, el cual no es tan común de ver en el loli pero me gusta usar mucho para hacer los coordinados más urbanos. Además, amo como queda con ese jsk de Innocent World, me ha resultado super práctico.

As it was hot and I wanted to go without attracting much attention I opted for a summery, simple coord wirth tights of the same color as the lace bolero, which is not so common to see in lolita but I like to use a lot for a more urban look. Besides, I love how it felt with the jsk of Innocent World, it has resulted super practical me.

Para bajar de tono el coord, pelo lacio y una vincha como headress. Ya que iba bastante loli para conservar el look aún.

Carpe Diem

Para la despedida de Agus , que se iba a USA por unos meses fuimos a un nuevo local en el barrio de Pocitos, llamado Carpe Diem. 

For Agus farewell  , he was going to USA for a few months, we went to a new location in the neighborhood of Pocitos, called Carpe Diem.

 Era un día caluroso de verano, por lo que fuimos sencillos. 

It was a warm summer day so we went  with simple outfits.

El lugar es común, pero tiene una linda estética que combina elementos modernos con los clásicos de una casa de té en tonos de rojos, marrones y blancos.

The place is common, but it has a nice aesthetic that combines a modern style with q more classic tea house one, in shades of red, brown and white.

Para comer optamos por los té completos de la tarde, que venían con la promoción que teníamos. En cuanto a la calidad, resultó ser normal, no estaba mal pero nada llamaba la atención salvo la porción de torta. Además, tenía demasiado dulce por sobre un sándwich y un scon pro persona de lo salado.

To eat we opted for the complete afternoon tea that came with the promotion we had. As for the quality, it proved to be normal, it was not bad but nothing that drew attention except the piece of cake. Besides, it had too many sweets and only a sandwich and a scone per person as salty treats.

Pasamos muy a gusto igual conversando y hablando de los planes de Agus. Al final sacamos una selfie derp , Agus no salió en ella porque se tentaba xD.

Anyway, we spent quite a comfortable time talking and talking about Agus plans. At the end we take a selfie derp, Agus did not go in it because he was tempted.

Otro coord bastante casual, en lo que prima la comodidad y la sencillez. En este caso traté de atenuar el look incorporando un saco común negro pero acentuando lo lolita en un headress distintivo, colgantes y cartera. También opte por una falda sin estampado pero con tul bordado. 

Another fairly casual coord, it prioritizes comfort and simplicity. In this case I tried to soften the look by incorporating a common black cardigan but accentuating the lolita asthetic by the use of the pendants and bag. I also opt for a skirt without printed but one with embroidered tulle.

Compras update Febrero- Marzo !

Hi, hoy les traigo el update de compras de estos últimos meses. Más bien Febrero-Marzo, ya que lo de Abril está aún por llegar ( vivir en Uruguay = 1 mes de espera o más) .Bah, lo de Taobao es de Diciembre, pero se perdió y luego apareció en Marzo.

Hi, today I bring you the update of purchases form the last few months. More like February-March, April 's purchases are yet to come (living in Uruguay = waiting 1 month or more) .Bah, the Taobao is from December but it got lost in the mail and then appeared on March.



 Decidí comprar artículos más básicos ya que quiero usar más loli para en el diario vivir, así que vendí algunas prendas que ya no iban tanto con mi estilo por este nuevo estilo que ando prefiriendo. El cual se divide en un OTT para la reuniones lolitas con la comunidad o convenciones y en un estilo más casual y urbano para el uso cotidiano . Antes como que me sentía medio fuera de lugar usando prendas muy vistosas para salir a comer casualmente, por lo que he comenzado a usar jsk más floreados con sacos menos recargados. Pero para saciar mi necesidad de hacer cosas más extravagantes ando adquiriendo por otro lado prendas con muchos volados y encajes <3.

I decided to buy mostly basic items as I want to use more loli in my daily life, so I sold some items that no longer fit  my style to get this new ones in a style that suits me better. Which is divided into an OTT for lolitas community meetings and conventions and a more casual and urban style for everyday use. Before, I felt like half out of place wearing very OTT clothes to go out to eat casually, so I started using less ornate and more floral coords. But to satisfy my need for more extravagant things I have acquired garments with many ruffles and lace <3 ..

"Long Princess Sleeve Bolero" de Innocent World

El color el es Bordeaux×Cafe au Lait en talle L. Si bien dice hasta 89cm de busto, la tela estira bastante y me entra cómodamente.  Comprado con el 50% off en la web de IW en el Sale, adoro los descuentos de IW <3. Tardó un tiempo en ser despachado, pero lo amé. amo su encaje y el volumen de las mangas. Aún no entiendo como pasó tanto tiempo en el sale. 

The color is Bordeaux × Cafe au Lait in size L. It size up to 89cm bust but the fabric stretches so in spite I'm a little larger it fits quite comfortably. Bought with 50% off on the website of IW in Sale, IW discounts  are <3. It took a while to be dispatched, but I loved it. I adore the lace and volume of the sleeves. Still do not understand how it happened to stay fo so long on sale.

"Bouquet Stripe" de Innocent World

Esta otra compra fue por Lace Market, por lo general le rehuyo a los sites de subastas occidentales, porque tienden a ser más caros y dos pro tres hay dramas con la gente , pero al ver el Bouquet Stripe a tan buen precio y  free shippping no me pude contener. Me venía como anillo al dedo para mi ideas de un closet mas versátil. Además, amo los modelos viejos de IW, son baratos y sencillos, este es del 2011 y tiene una forma bastante "normal".

The other purchase was from Lace Market,I  usually shun the sites of western auctions, because they tend to be more expensive and form time ot time full of dramas , but seeing the Bouquet Stripe ar such a good price and free shippping,  I couldn't resist. It came in handy for my ideas of a more versatile closet. Besides, I love the old models of IW, they are cheap and simple, this is 2011, and has a fairly "normal" way.

Lo único que me llamó la atención fueron los colores más chillones de las rosas del print. Por lo general no los veo tanto en el loli y las fotos en la web no se veían con tantos contrastes, pero no me molestan <3. También muta un poco los colores según la luz, es más wine como en este close up. 

The only thing that struck me were the most garish roses print colors. I usually do not see it much in  lolita and photos on the web not seen  to have that much contrasts, but it does not bother me <3. The color also mutates a little depending on the light, it is more wine, as in this close up.

 "To the Ball" de Innocent World

Ésta es la versión con collar del 2007, otro  jsk  con sus añitos entrados. Hace mil años lo tenía en mi wishlist, pero en negro con gris, no fue hasta hace poco que descubrí esta versión en bordó x rosa viejo, que va mucho mejor con los colores que andaba buscando. Lo compré de segunda mano por Japonica Market en Yahoo Japan. A pesar de ser un modelo viejo, estaba en optimas condiciones, amo a los ponjas y su meticulosidad a la hora de comprarles .

This is the version with collar of 2007, another jsk with some years old. A thousand years ago it was on my wishlist, but the black with gray colorway, it was not until recently that I discovered this old version  in wine x  old rose, which fits much better with the colors I was looking for. I bought it with Japonica Market at Yahoo Japan. Despite being an old model , it was in good condition, I love the japannesse thoroughness when buying second hand.

Además, hace pila de tiempo que quería comprarme un jsk de Cenicienta, este tiene pila de detalles! Es de pana, perfecto para el invierno -otoño .

It's been a while since I wanted to buy a jsk Cinderella and this one this holds a lot details! And it is corduroy, perfect for winter - fall.

Taobao

Y por último me llegaron algunas cosas de taobao que había dado por muertas, ya que el paquete salio en Diciembre y llegó en Marzo!! Pasó como 1 mes y medio en suiza (?) y recién cuando le reclamé a Yoybuy que volvió a moverse. Primera vez que me pasa algo así con el correo SAL desde China. Además me pusieron mal el color de 1 par de medias y no incluyeron otras ¬¬.  Pero en fin, todo offbrand y las medias son replicas de IW por Secret Shop. Es gracioso que las originales wine de IW no me combinasen tan bien como la replica con algunos tonos de wine, con otros son mejores las originales. 

And finally I got some stuff from taobao,I had given for dead, since the package was from December and it arrived on March !! It spent about 1 month and a half at Swiss (?) And only when I complained to Yoybuy  it began to move again. First time something like this happened to me using SAL from China. Plus I got  1 pair of socks the wrong color and they dind'nt include another ¬¬. But anyway,  OTK stockings are replicas of IW by Secret Shop. It's funny that the original wine IW did not combinasen as well as the replica with some shades of wine, others are better with the original.

Visita Luthien de Chile y Cumpleaños Mercedes con The Tea Saloon

Picnic en Jardín Botánico

En el mes de Febrero nos estuvo visitando desde Chile, Luthien, administradora de la comunidad El Jardín Secreto. Así que como bienvenida optamos por llevarla a El Jardín Botánico, donde el buen tiempo ameritaba para hacer un picnic.

In the month of February we were visited from Chile by Luthien, administrator of the community El Jardín Secreto. So as welcome we opted to take her to the Botanical Garden, where the good weather merited for a picnic.

También festejamos el cumpleaños de Mercedes, quien trajo desde Maldonado(otro departamento) un motón de comida con el tema de Hello Kitty. Todo delicioso y precioso!

We also celebrate the birthday of Mercedes, who brought from Maldonado (another department) a ton of food with Hello Kitty theme.All delicious and beautiful!

Nos hizo un día precioso, aunque un poco caluroso por el loli jeje. Luego de pasar el rato charlando, bromeando a morir con sobredosis de azúcar  y comentando sobre el lolita en los diferentes países, fuimos al Parque Prado un rato, ya que el Botánico últimamente está cerrando súper temprano :(.

We had a lovely day, even thought a little hot for loli hehe. After hanging out chatting, joking to death with an overdose of sugar and commenting on the lolita in different countries, we went to the Parque Prado for a while, since the Botanical lately is closing super early :(.

Traté de hacer algún peinado loco-romántico con algunos tutoriales de internet pero luego de ver las fotos me he dado cuenta que los peinados cortos no me favorecen mucho xD. A menos pude usar mi pelo para algo  y combatir el calor. Y usar ese sombrerito de Taobao que amo y espero volver a usar mejor.

I tried to do some crazy-romantic hairstyle with some internet tutorials but after seeing the photos I've noticed that short hairstyles do not favor me as  long ones xD. At least I could use my hair to something and beat up the heat, and I could wear that Taobao hat I love and hope to use it better.

Cena en Adolfo Café

Para despedir a Luthien optamos por ir a Adolfo Café para cenar, ubicado en la zona de Punta Carretas. Es un café que recientemente comenzó a abrir para picadas y comidas ligeras con tragos en la noche. Es un lugar muy bonito que combina varios estilos.

As farewell party to Luthien we opted to go to Adolfo Dining Café, located in the neighborhood of Punta Carretas. It is a coffeehouse  that recently began opening for snacks and light meals with drinks at night. It is a very nice place that blends styles.

Para cenar compartí con Rina una pizza casera de tomates secos y albahaca, con un delicioso caipiriña de frutos del bosque. Ah! y una torta de chocolate con helado que me olvidé de fotografiar jeje.

For dinner I shared with Rina a homemade pizza with dried tomatoes and basil with a delicious wild berry caipirinha. Ah! and a chocolate cake with ice cream that I forgot to photograph hehe.

Pasamos la noche conversando y poniéndonos al día con los que no fueron al picnic. Se pasó muy divertido por más que el lugar nos quedaba un poco chico para tanto petti je,je. 

We spent the night chatting and catching up with those who were not at the picnic. We have a lot of fun even though the place was a little small for all our pettis heh, heh.

El coord fue hecho medio a las apuradas, la peluca de Arda se me deshizo un poco en el correr de la noche, no valió la pena su costo , me han salido mejor algunas de Bodyline. Esta un poco saturada por la luz, que no era la más amena para fotos. Pero igual me gustó mi coord :).

The coord was done half a hurry, Arda wig  undid a little over the course of the night, not worth the cost, I would have been better some of Bodyline. This somewhat saturated by light, it was not the most pleasant for photos.But just as I liked my coord. :)
