Meriendas de Enero

Bueno, esta sí es una entrada que tiene ya un tiempo, Enero, nada más ni nada menos, pero no quería adelantarme tanto sin escribir sobre algunas salidas. 

Well, this it is an entry that has been a while, January, nothing more nothing less, but did not want to overtake both without writing on some departures.

PV Restaurante Lounge

En esta ocasión fuimos a merendar a PV Restaurante Lounge, que se encuentra en la Librería Puro Verso en Cuidad Vieja.

This time we went for tea at PV Restaurant Lounge, located in the Library Puro Verso in Cuidad Vieja.

Fuimos con el motivo de que Laia quiso saludar a Kelly por su cumple y de paso hicimos una pequeña reunión. Era una tarde bastante calurosa, yo tuve la suerte que Lai me pasó a buscar en auto , pero en el lugar también pasamos calor porque no tenía aire acondicionado y los pettis y el calor no se llevan xD.

We took advantage that Laia was in town to greet Kelly for fer birthdat so we made a small gathering. It was a very hot afternoon, I was lucky that Laia happened  to go by car and give me a ride but the place also had heat because it had no air conditioning and pettis and heat to not carry XD.

De todas maneras pasamos muy lindo, la comida es muy buena y nos pedimos unos licuados deliciosos.

Anyway we spent a very nice time together, the food is very good and we ordered delicious smoothies.

Coord

Como hacía calor y quería ir sin llamar mucho la atención opté por un coord veraniego, simple, con medias enteras del mismo color del bolero de encaje, el cual no es tan común de ver en el loli pero me gusta usar mucho para hacer los coordinados más urbanos. Además, amo como queda con ese jsk de Innocent World, me ha resultado super práctico.

As it was hot and I wanted to go without attracting much attention I opted for a summery, simple coord wirth tights of the same color as the lace bolero, which is not so common to see in lolita but I like to use a lot for a more urban look. Besides, I love how it felt with the jsk of Innocent World, it has resulted super practical me.

Para bajar de tono el coord, pelo lacio y una vincha como headress. Ya que iba bastante loli para conservar el look aún.

Carpe Diem

Para la despedida de Agus , que se iba a USA por unos meses fuimos a un nuevo local en el barrio de Pocitos, llamado Carpe Diem. 

For Agus farewell  , he was going to USA for a few months, we went to a new location in the neighborhood of Pocitos, called Carpe Diem.

 Era un día caluroso de verano, por lo que fuimos sencillos. 

It was a warm summer day so we went  with simple outfits.

El lugar es común, pero tiene una linda estética que combina elementos modernos con los clásicos de una casa de té en tonos de rojos, marrones y blancos.

The place is common, but it has a nice aesthetic that combines a modern style with q more classic tea house one, in shades of red, brown and white.

Para comer optamos por los té completos de la tarde, que venían con la promoción que teníamos. En cuanto a la calidad, resultó ser normal, no estaba mal pero nada llamaba la atención salvo la porción de torta. Además, tenía demasiado dulce por sobre un sándwich y un scon pro persona de lo salado.

To eat we opted for the complete afternoon tea that came with the promotion we had. As for the quality, it proved to be normal, it was not bad but nothing that drew attention except the piece of cake. Besides, it had too many sweets and only a sandwich and a scone per person as salty treats.

Pasamos muy a gusto igual conversando y hablando de los planes de Agus. Al final sacamos una selfie derp , Agus no salió en ella porque se tentaba xD.

Anyway, we spent quite a comfortable time talking and talking about Agus plans. At the end we take a selfie derp, Agus did not go in it because he was tempted.

Otro coord bastante casual, en lo que prima la comodidad y la sencillez. En este caso traté de atenuar el look incorporando un saco común negro pero acentuando lo lolita en un headress distintivo, colgantes y cartera. También opte por una falda sin estampado pero con tul bordado. 

Another fairly casual coord, it prioritizes comfort and simplicity. In this case I tried to soften the look by incorporating a common black cardigan but accentuating the lolita asthetic by the use of the pendants and bag. I also opt for a skirt without printed but one with embroidered tulle.

Escapada a Punta del Este: Felix Caffè y Museo Rallí

Hi, el post de hoy es sobre una escapada que realicé a Punta del Este, un balneario de Uruguay conocido por sus playas y su diversidad de entretenimientos. La cosa es que como no tuve vacaciones este año aproveché a visitar un amigo que vive en cuidad de cuidad de Maldonado como excusa para salir de Montevideo jeje. Además, yo tenía montones de ganas de visitar alguna de las casas de té del lugar, ya que en mi cuidad ya conozco casi todas y de paso ir a la exhibición de Salvador Dalí en el Museo Rallí.

Hi, today's post is about a trip I made to Punta del Este,  an uruguayan resort known for its beaches and its variety of entertainment. The thing is that as I did not have vacation this year so I took advantage that a friend of mine  lives in the city of Maldonado  as an excuse to leave Montevideo hehe. Also, I had lots of desires to visit some of the teahouses of the area, because in my city and get to know most of themI and also wanted to see the exhibition of Salvador Dalí at the Ralli Museum.

  

Luego de averiguar por internet un par de lugares, opté por Félix Caffé, ya que quedaba cerca del museo y parecía lindo y tranquilo, sin ser demasiado ostentoso. La idea era relajarse y tomar algo aprovechando el buen tiempo del verano. 

After looking uo on the internet for a couple of places, I chose Caffé Felix, as remained near the museum and looked cute and quiet, without being too ostentatious. The idea was to relax and have a drink enjoying the lovely summer weather.

Nos hizo un día hermoso para comer afuera. Yo llegué un poco tarde ya que no encontraba lugar en el ómnibus interdepartamental que tenía que tomar, no calculé que al ser fin de semana habría mucho más movimiento.A eso se sumó que en el viaje de 2 hrs ,en el cual planeaba dormir, fue interrumpido por unos turistas brasileros que no dejaban de preguntarme cosas por más dormida que estuviese..¬¬ . Sí, al ser un balneario popular en temporada se llana de turistas... 

We had a beautiful day to eat outside. I arrived a little late since could not find place in the interdepartmental bus that I had to take, I didn't anticipate that the weekend would be that busy. The 2 hrs joutney which planned to sleep, was interrupted by a Brazilian tourists who kept asking me for stuff regardless of my sleep..¬¬. Yes, being a popular seaside resort in high season is plain tourists ...

Pero bueno, tampoco rendía llegar demasiado temprano por el calor. Nos pedimos un high tea para compartir. Aunque quería la bandeja de 2 pisos, no nos entraba nada en la mesa. De toda formas, súper rico todo, con el hambre que tenía! Incluía scones, una ciabatta de vegetales con una mini ensalada, torta y champagne XD. Hubiéramos preferido un jugo por la sed, pero...bueno..aprovechamos y celebramos el comienzo del año editorial de nuestro sello editorial indie (?).  

But hey, it was ok cause too early would have been too much heat. We ordered a high tea to share. Although I wanted a rwo story tray, cause we didn't have much space on the table. Anyway, everuthing was super ! The tea included scones , vegetable ciabatta with a mini salad, cake and champagne XD. We would have preferred a juice because we were  very thirst, but ...we took advantage of it and celebrate the beginning of our editorial year of our indie publishing imprint (?).

El lugar estaba muy lindo decorado, como motivo tenía angelitos , no pude sacar demasiadas fotos porque había gente en todos lados, pero tenían mesas distintas,tipo living, mesas de patio y mesas de comedor afuera. La zona del barrio Berverly Hills también era muy tranquila, hasta que se hizo la hora de volver de la playa, lo que nos impidió salir del lugar como por 30min por la fila de autos que se formó afuera.

The place was very nice decorated, as a motive it had angels, I could not get too many pictures because there were people everywhere. The place had different type of tables, living style , patio tables and dining tables but outside. The Beverly Hills neighborhood was also very quiet, until it was time for the return of the beach, which prevented us from leaving the place  for 30min because of the line of cars that formed outside.

Al menos llegamos con un tiempo, corto pero efectivo para recorrer la mayoría del Museo Rallí.

At least we got a short but effective time to tour most of the Ralli Museum.

 El Museo Rallí es la colección de arte latinoamericano de un particular que esta diseminada por varios museo al rededor del mundo. Cuenta con pinturas y esculturas que varían de museos con el tiempo, teniendo así variedad de obras.

The Ralli Museum is the collection of Latin American art of a private owner that it is spread around various museum all over the the world. It features paintings and sculptures ranging from museums over time.

También estaba la muestra de Salvador Dalí, excéntrico surrealista catalán y uno de mis artistas favoritos. Amo sus creaciones que combinan elementos tan distintos, mágicos que evocan a la superficie el inconsciente humano. Subo solo algunas fotos ya que por tener vidrio la mayoría no salieron muy bien.

There was also the excibition of Salvador Dalí's sculptures, the eccentric Catalan surrealist and one of my favorite artists. I love his creations that combine so different, magical elements that evoke to the surface the human unconscious. I only upload some photos because of glass reflection ruin most of them.

Luego de la ida al museo, fuimos a ver la última película del live-action de Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends, en lo de mi amiga Laia con conocidos. La pasamos muy bien, la película fue genial como todas la de la trilogía. Amo Kenshin desde mi pubertad y nunca imaginé que un live action pudiese colmar mis expectativas pero así fue. Me apena un poco que terminase :(.

After going to the museum, we went to see the latest live action film from the Rurouni Kenshin, The Legend Ends, at my friend's Laia house with acquaintances. We had a great time, the film was amazing as all of the trilogy. I love Kenshin since my puberty and never imagined that a live action could fill my expectations but it did vastly. It just saddens me a bit that ended :(.

Fui con mi jsk más cómodo debido a las horas de viaje , el calor y a que estuve todo el día en la marcha. Nada especial, algo casual pero con medias más OTT para ponerle un poco de onda.  

I went with my most comfortable jsk  due to travel hoursl and the heat . It was nothing special, something casual but with some more OTT socks .
