Tea Party Elegante en Hotel del Prado

Hoy les traigo la visita a Hotel del Prado, con motivos del té elegante con The Tea Saloon. La reunión tuvo lugar en el mes de Mayo.

Today 's entry is about our visit to Hotel del Prado, with motifs of the elegant tea activity with The Tea Saloon. The meeting took place in May.



Justo nos tocó un día de lluvia, que hizo del asunto de las fotos un tema complicado. Ya que el lugar de la entrada estaba bastante inundado y  también estaba el asunto que los prints que se corren con el agua!

Unlucky we got a rainy day, which made of the matter of the photos a complicated issue. Since the place of the entrance was quite flooded and there was also the issue that the prints that could be ruined by water!

Fue la reunión más concurrida en mucho tiempo!
It was the largest meeting in a long time!

El edificio es la obra de los arquitectos Juan Veltroni y Jules Knab fue inaugurada el 15 de setiembre de 1912. Supo ser un hotel muy concurrido, actualmente es una casa de té/ salón de fiestas.

The work of the architects Juan Veltroni and Julian Knab was inaugurated on September 15, 1912. Used to be a busy hotel, it is currently a teahouse / ballroom.

 

La vajilla con inscripciones del lugar, me atrevo a decir que es de la época del Hotel. 

The dishes with inscriptions of the place, I dare say that are from the time of the Hotel's splendor.

Habían decoraciones extras por la fiesta de quince que se se iba a realizar más tarde.

They had extra decorations for the quinceañera that was to be held later ..

Tuvimos un precioso rato conversando, todos estaban tan lindos!

Opte por usar el Print Angel of Music de Haenuli, con unas medias OTK que tenia de IW para darle un look más recargado que vaya con el print. Además pensé que el terciopelo del bolero podría irle bien para asentar la elegancia. Lo que no me quedé muy conforme que el headress, no solo porque la pluma se mojo sino porque no creo que la corono combinen tan bien con esas flores, pero en general quedé contenta. 

I choosed to wear the print Angel of Music by Haenuli, with some IW OTK I had to give it a more ornate look that fits the print. I also thought the velvet bolero could do well to settle elegance. What I was not very sure about was the headress, not only because the feather got wet but because I do not think the crown combine so well with those flowers, but overall I was happy.

Picnic Integración en el Jardín Japones de The Tea Saloon

 Hola, hoy les traigo , un poco atrasado, el picnic de integración que hicimos con "The Tea Saloon" , en el Jardín Japones en el mes de Marzo.

Hello, today I bring you, a little late, the integrational picnic we did with "The Tea Saloon" in the Japanese Garden in March.

La idea detrás de las reuniones de integración es el permitir a gente nueva acercase a nuestra comunidad , por lo que no pedimos que vistan ropa lolita. Además aprovechamos y organizamos algunos juegos para romper el hielo. 

The idea behind the integrational meetings is to allow new people get close to our community, so we do not ask them to wear lolita clothes. Moreover we advantage and organize some games to break the ice.

Esta vez corrió por mi parte la organización de los juegos, primero jugamos a un juego que es conocido, pero que yo tomé de la película de Mª Antonietta de Sofía Copolla, en el cual el compañero de al lado te escribe un nombre de un famoso para que vos lo pegues en tu frente, luego, vos vas preguntando hasta adivinar el personaje, pero por cada respuesta "no" se pasa al siguiente y así hasta completar la ronda.

This time I organized the games, first we played a game that is known, but I took it  form the film Marie Antoinette of Sofia Copolla, in which the one who sits beside you enters a name of a famous person in a paper and then  stick in on your forehead, them you start asking questions to guess the character, but for each  wrong answer "you continue with to the next in line and so on to complete the round.

A mi me tocó "Soy Germán" el famoso youtubero, demoré montones en adivinarlo xD.

I happened to have Soy German," the famous youtuber, xD it took me a consirable time to guess it. 

El segundo juego fue una cacería fotográfica grupal, aprovechando que todos tenemos celulares, tuvieron que hacer las tareas propuestas, en el menor tiempo posible.

The second game was a group photo hunting, taking advantage that the mayority has cell phones, they had to complete the tasks on the papers in the shortest amount of time possible .

Quería usar la capellina antes de fin del verano y tenía muchas ganas de usarla con el Blooming Garden. Así que pensé un coord en función a eso. Que fuese veraniego y fresco. 

I wanted to use the brimmed before the end of the summer and I really wanted to use the Blooming Garden, so I thought for a coord according to that. It was summery and fresh.

Visita Luthien de Chile y Cumpleaños Mercedes con The Tea Saloon

Picnic en Jardín Botánico

En el mes de Febrero nos estuvo visitando desde Chile, Luthien, administradora de la comunidad El Jardín Secreto. Así que como bienvenida optamos por llevarla a El Jardín Botánico, donde el buen tiempo ameritaba para hacer un picnic.

In the month of February we were visited from Chile by Luthien, administrator of the community El Jardín Secreto. So as welcome we opted to take her to the Botanical Garden, where the good weather merited for a picnic.

También festejamos el cumpleaños de Mercedes, quien trajo desde Maldonado(otro departamento) un motón de comida con el tema de Hello Kitty. Todo delicioso y precioso!

We also celebrate the birthday of Mercedes, who brought from Maldonado (another department) a ton of food with Hello Kitty theme.All delicious and beautiful!

Nos hizo un día precioso, aunque un poco caluroso por el loli jeje. Luego de pasar el rato charlando, bromeando a morir con sobredosis de azúcar  y comentando sobre el lolita en los diferentes países, fuimos al Parque Prado un rato, ya que el Botánico últimamente está cerrando súper temprano :(.

We had a lovely day, even thought a little hot for loli hehe. After hanging out chatting, joking to death with an overdose of sugar and commenting on the lolita in different countries, we went to the Parque Prado for a while, since the Botanical lately is closing super early :(.

Traté de hacer algún peinado loco-romántico con algunos tutoriales de internet pero luego de ver las fotos me he dado cuenta que los peinados cortos no me favorecen mucho xD. A menos pude usar mi pelo para algo  y combatir el calor. Y usar ese sombrerito de Taobao que amo y espero volver a usar mejor.

I tried to do some crazy-romantic hairstyle with some internet tutorials but after seeing the photos I've noticed that short hairstyles do not favor me as  long ones xD. At least I could use my hair to something and beat up the heat, and I could wear that Taobao hat I love and hope to use it better.

Cena en Adolfo Café

Para despedir a Luthien optamos por ir a Adolfo Café para cenar, ubicado en la zona de Punta Carretas. Es un café que recientemente comenzó a abrir para picadas y comidas ligeras con tragos en la noche. Es un lugar muy bonito que combina varios estilos.

As farewell party to Luthien we opted to go to Adolfo Dining Café, located in the neighborhood of Punta Carretas. It is a coffeehouse  that recently began opening for snacks and light meals with drinks at night. It is a very nice place that blends styles.

Para cenar compartí con Rina una pizza casera de tomates secos y albahaca, con un delicioso caipiriña de frutos del bosque. Ah! y una torta de chocolate con helado que me olvidé de fotografiar jeje.

For dinner I shared with Rina a homemade pizza with dried tomatoes and basil with a delicious wild berry caipirinha. Ah! and a chocolate cake with ice cream that I forgot to photograph hehe.

Pasamos la noche conversando y poniéndonos al día con los que no fueron al picnic. Se pasó muy divertido por más que el lugar nos quedaba un poco chico para tanto petti je,je. 

We spent the night chatting and catching up with those who were not at the picnic. We have a lot of fun even though the place was a little small for all our pettis heh, heh.

El coord fue hecho medio a las apuradas, la peluca de Arda se me deshizo un poco en el correr de la noche, no valió la pena su costo , me han salido mejor algunas de Bodyline. Esta un poco saturada por la luz, que no era la más amena para fotos. Pero igual me gustó mi coord :).

The coord was done half a hurry, Arda wig  undid a little over the course of the night, not worth the cost, I would have been better some of Bodyline. This somewhat saturated by light, it was not the most pleasant for photos.But just as I liked my coord. :)
